The Man Behind JunkStart
Daniel McCarty is the owner of JunkStart Junk Removal located in San Antonio, Texas. His family has been serving the SA area for over 40 years. Growing up surrounded by his family’s waste management business, Daniel is no stranger to hard work.
Through the efforts of his junk removal company, Daniel strives to make JunkStart a positive force in the community. He makes himself available for his customers, freely offering correspondence to his email at Daniel@junkstart.com.
A Letter From The Owner:
I want to sincerely thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about JunkStart and what we are all about. The vision for JunkStart has always been much larger and more important than just providing junk removal services. Our mission is to build and steward a culture centered around creating opportunities for individuals to join our team, be equipped with the tools and community to chase their dreams, develop their skills, find deep fulfillment in their work, reach towards their potential and to do it all so they can more fully serve you, the customer. It may sound a little tacky, but I can assure you that we mean every word.
To speak in plain English, we want to create a great place to work for good people and to help those good people deliver great customer service to each and every one of you, our customers. And it is my sincere hope that we can accomplish this goal together.
I was born and raised in San Antonio and attended Southern Methodist University on a football scholarship. From a young age, I grew up surrounded by a family business that taught me firsthand how much of a positive impact a company can have on the lives of its team members. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, competing in endurance events, exploring the outdoors and walking the unofficial four-legged JunkStart mascot, Boone!

I cannot promise you we will be perfect, but I can give you my word that we will act with integrity, right any wrong that may occur, and tirelessly work to deliver you an uncommon customer experience.
